I’m still shocked that Cage found his way onto this release, although both of these emos sound great on the trance-influenced Maniac. November is going to be a great month for releases: Cudi, Kanye, Banks, Soulja Boy, Roscoe Dash, N.E.R.D., and Nicki Minaj are all scheduled to drop projects that month, although I doubt Roscoe’s debut will surface. This is due November 9th, and it’ll probably end up on many year end lists.

I’m happy there’s far less guest features here then there was on The State Vs. Radric Davis, especially on the R&B spectrum. Feeling a little easy about the Wyclef collaboration, although I’m really looking forward the Gucci/Estelle collaboration, as Gucci may touch on some more mature subject matter. Party Animal doesn’t list Snoop as a collaborator, so I’m guessing it’s the Burrussia cut of the same name? The fact that the only two guests on here who’re traditional rappers are Nicki and Bun makes me happy, although I’d love if Pharell were to include one of his famous show-stealing verses on Haterade. Looking forward to the full, tag-less version of Dollar Sign and any song called Brand New tends to be dope. Weirdo’s sure to be a lot of absurdist fun.

2. Free Mason f. Jay-Z (prod. The Inkredibles)
3. Tears Of Joy f. Cee-Lo

9. B.M.F. (Blowin’ Money Fast) f. Styles P (prod. Lex Luger)
10. Aston Martin Music f. Drake & Chrisette Michele (prod. J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League)
11. All The Money In The World f. Raphael Saadiq (prod. The Olympicks)
While I’m happy with this tracklist, i’m also very confused by it. Eleven songs? Three of them being from The Albert Anastasia EP, with one adding a Gucci verse (and thank God for that - Gucci on MC Hammer will be golden). Free Mason (feat. Jay-Z)? I mean, really? Aston Martin Music is also just fucking weird, considering we’ve already got the third installment of Maybach Music on here. You can’t just name something you like and put “Music” after it. That’s cool the first five times you do it, but then it just becomes redundant.
Oh well. This album’ll probably bang. July 20th
