Roscoe Dash (feat. Kalio) - Ballin’ (Interscope, 2010)

Most people don’t like Roscoe, and I can’t blame them. He’s little more than another J. Futuristic/Yung L.A./Travis Porter swag rapper with no substance and less than a handful of flows. Just like all of those acts he also likes to sing. In fact, at times, i think Mr. Turnt Up may sing more than he raps; and that’s half the reason I kinda co-sign this kid. Roscoe isn’t a very good rapper, and he doesn’t try to be. However, between his K.E. instrumentals and sing-songy BOW BOW BOW flow, it’s hard not to get caught up in his syrupy vocals. This Kalio guy doesn’t really exist to me on this song, because I’m too busy zoning out to BALLIN’ BALLIN’ BALLIN’ YOU CAN CALL WHAT YOU CALL IT

I want his album. Or at the very least, a decent mixtape, of which none exist.
