This random track that won’t appear on Wolf (which had its release date pushed back from December till sometime in 2011) is probably the best song I’ve heard all week (granted, did anything but Vado come out this week of note?). Tyler’s verse is instantly quotable, like virtually everything he does; it’s that retro-Eminem rallying of corrupted youth to fuck shit up while screaming profanities. Hodgy’s is less vulgar, as he’s not nearly as warped as Tyler, but his playful innocence mixed with his taking notes from Tyler’s swagger (triple six is my number, you can get it off my tumblr… hahahahaha…) makes him a perfect compliment to Tyler on here.

But yes, more on Tyler’s delay of WOLF; apparently he’s going to drop something else in December to hold us over (maybe that TTDD album? is that even real?), but this makes me wonder if Tyler’s been secretly signed to a label and he’s keeping it for his debut? Tyler’s been going to photoshoots recently (unspecified if it was for magazines or other business ventures) according to his Facebook, and that could point to him being signed. I would love to be able to own a physical copy of Tyler’s album when it drops, but I’m not holding my breath.
