Left Leberra - Bubble Quiet Dos Mil (Internet, 2011) Bandcamp’s resident graphic artist/director/editor/musician/artful stoner came through with his 6th project this year(?!) yesterday, Bubble Quiet Dos Mil. Leberra’s a gifted young rapper with some of the chillest melodies this side of Curren$y, and even though some maybe quick to dump him in with the other stoners, Left brings a creativity and earnestness that’s often missing from rappers of his ilk. Featuring production from Keyboard Kid, Giorgio MoMurda, and Silky Johnson, as well as features from Supa (of SortaHuman) and my dream-wifey Tiffany (of Dark Sister), Leberra drops yet another strong project in a long line of them. This boy’s grind is commendable alone, but the consistency of the output has him on another level. Stop sleeping on Leberra.
