Spaceghostpurrp - Best Of Blackland (Self-released, 2012)
courtesy of Atrilli.net and Purrp himself, these are Purrp’s favorite tracks from Blackland, along with some other choice cuts, remastered. Includes some of my personal favorites like Mac Named Purrp and Grind On Me, this is certainly worth grabbing.

Fat Trel - Fat Trel’s Nightmare Before Christmas - The Set List (DCtoBC.com, 2011)
Though I haven’t written much about Trel on here before (check out DC’s representative Necktomace for some in-depth analysis on Trel and other regional acts), he’s been a favorite of mine since I heard April Foolz some odd eight months ago. He’s an excellent rapper with a great pop sensibility, who is addicted to pill popping and calling himself a slut (he is also admirably self-aware). His long delayed Nightmare on E. Street is set to drop at the top of 2012, and here’s a Greatest Hits/set playlist from tonight’s show, courtesy of DCtoBC.com
