I like Tyga. Dude can make some serious strip club joints (Well Done, Lapdance, Rack City), which is funny considering how awkward Tyga should sound over these type of songs (and often does). He comes off as a nice dude surrounded by a bunch of creeps and assholes (YMCMB), trying his best to keep his creep-game strong to impress Stunna enough to let him release an album. He’s unintentionally funny - his sobriety leads to some hilarious moments as a writer, especially on his club music - and he’s a competent enough rapper to carry that into some decent, if unspectacular, music. He’s also got a strong ear for beats (he was one of the first people to ask Lexus for a beat that didn’t sound like Hard N The Paint) and knows how to create some dope melodies. 

I still find it funny how offended people get by him “around these parts.”
